Hello again, as Harriet has informed you, we are back. Had a lovely time and was nice to return to a sunny Newcastle airport for the first time ever. We're having a BBQ with Phil and Nee tonight and then Thos and I are off to Lewis tomorrow. How's the Kiwi Ex going? Know what you mean about them doing everything for you but we just started ignoring it and doing whatever/staying wherever we fancied but then using it when we were feeling lazy. Most of the stuff they can book for you is pretty good though. Have you been skiing? Speak soon x x x x
Harry, Lucy & Billy
Thank you for the post cards. I (Bill) liked the picture of Nemo and the donkeys were classic (they looked a bit like our dad). Harry fancies a hammock - wd be handy at the mo as there is more chance of being able to sleep in the garden than indoors cos its sooo hot. We are seeing grandad and your mum this afternoon - we were gonna go there for a picnic but a raving thunderstorm has just put paid to that so they are coming here as your house is off limits as work on the conservatory is about to start so we assume grandads legendary piles of paper are now cramping the style of the rest of the house. lol your loving (but lively) niece/nephews.

Finally having passed my driving test, the heat here is making the roads melt! I am not impressed. Hope you're having a lovely time- isn't the Franz Josef glacier where we were before? You should check in on Bill and Basil: see if they ever finished the massive jigsaw puzzle. xx Josie

Hullo Cat, Charlie & Lizzy! Hope all is well with you and that you've finally adjusted sleep patterns etc ;o). Looks like you've been having a fab time, although you are missing out on the 'heat wave' weather conditions here!! I'm finally back in Wales now, with slow internet connection et al. Off 'up north' next week for Danny's big day. Thanks for the postcard Cat - I got it finally when I got home and cleared all the rubbish that had built up on my desk. I forgot to say last time we spoke, that I managed to get hold of several copies of the bumps posters with you on - so I mailed them to you and they should be waiting for you when you get back. Speak soon, Tris x

Ali
Hi just back from New York with Ruth, Catherine and Sarah looked after Millie who does not seem to have noticed my absence. She is fast becoming a bit of a madam, took her to the "field" at the bottom of the road to get some exercise playing fetch but it was raining so she picked up baby bird (big bird died) and trotted off home. She loves swimming but the Kelvin stinks as there hasn't been much rain so I'm not overly enthusiastic. Monica gave her a hair cut whilst I fed her gravy bone (she refused to let the professionals do it) she looks a bit ragged but is much cooler so who cares.
The architect is coming to look at converting the basement today so 4 years after your hard work clearing it/ watching the test match I might get another spare bedroom or 2 and a dog dungeon!

Give our love to N.Z. Wehave been having dire reports about the ghastly weather in the South Island.Lots of snow I think.Saw Hugh yesterday he is pretty uncomfortable in his large neck brace in the very hot weather. No word from the sailors. I left a message on Mum,s phone but not sure if she has got it. We are very busy picking fruit, making jam and freezing lots for when you come home. Lots of love G&G
