Hello Lizzy, ha er a gol a chonya who? ("It's all gone to the dog's arse!" in gaelic apparently). Wow, that skydiving lark sounds brilliant - you'll have to talk your older sister into doing it now... We're having a lovely time on the Isle of Lewis, catching lobsters and driving around on boats and - the ultimate adventure sport - extreme paddling! Have fun, hopefully see you soon, love Thos x

helllooo, and happy birthday cat :) hope you are having/have had a lovely day (no clue what time it is with you, sorry!). and thanks for my postcard, arriveds this morning which made me v happy, glad all's well! white water rafting sounds amazing, if cold, as does flying out of planes and standing in glaciers.... yay. sorry for the lack of communication, only got back yesterday, and was literally at the end of the world for a month without post/computers/phones etc. missing it lots, especially the papaya, but at least i managed not to contract malaria, which is always a bonus :) oh, can make the 18th, thanks for the email. anyway, hope everything goes well over the next few days, will be in touch in a week after running after hyperactive children somewhere up north. lots of love, xox

Sorry the photos didn't work out quite right, should have flipped the one of cat its even more confusing that way around. Exciting day today, cat has had a nice birthday, decided she didn't want to turn 20 so chucked herself out a plane, and took me and charlie with her. all survived though, will write more soon. x x x

Chris lived up to his word! Both Harry and Bill kept him and dad and another of the dads virtually tied to the new goal (with a net - oooh) we got for Bill. He loves his West Ham kit. Important to get indoctrination in early I feel. Think Chris underplaying his other two roles though. Making intricate train tracks and taking a good punch from a feisty girl vital life skills. Should stand him in good stead at Oxford (alright maybe not the train track bit, but then again there is the worlds only model train museum just outside the city...........I am sure Geoffery Best will give him the address). Thx for Bills card again. Lol Martin

Hi, we just went to the cinema and it was so exciting! they served warm cookies and then in the interval we came out and our dinner was ready. Got to sit in arm chairs as well and some people could sit in a mini. very strange but i recommend a visit to anyone going near new zealand

Hi, we haven't been skiing yet although are planning to go tomorrow from Wanaka (we did decide to stay an extra night). I have got a beginners ski package with a lesson and hired some classy skiing clothes (figure i may as well look good before i start skiing, keep the image of comptence for a short while at least!). Today we are planning to go for a walk around the lake and have spent the morning sorting photos (trying to back them up on a 2nd cd, don't trust myself not to lose the first one). Lots of love, Lizzy

Hello again, as Harriet has informed you, we are back. Had a lovely time and was nice to return to a sunny Newcastle airport for the first time ever. We're having a BBQ with Phil and Nee tonight and then Thos and I are off to Lewis tomorrow. How's the Kiwi Ex going? Know what you mean about them doing everything for you but we just started ignoring it and doing whatever/staying wherever we fancied but then using it when we were feeling lazy. Most of the stuff they can book for you is pretty good though. Have you been skiing? Speak soon x x x x
Harry, Lucy & Billy
Thank you for the post cards. I (Bill) liked the picture of Nemo and the donkeys were classic (they looked a bit like our dad). Harry fancies a hammock - wd be handy at the mo as there is more chance of being able to sleep in the garden than indoors cos its sooo hot. We are seeing grandad and your mum this afternoon - we were gonna go there for a picnic but a raving thunderstorm has just put paid to that so they are coming here as your house is off limits as work on the conservatory is about to start so we assume grandads legendary piles of paper are now cramping the style of the rest of the house. lol your loving (but lively) niece/nephews.
