hello all. jus an update on my bowls... they seem to be gettin back in to normal workin order! i bumped into an old friend (as far as bali goes) of mine at breakfast and he talked about lombok and it sounded amazing. he gave me the thought of goin to the gili islands which is described in the lonely planet as.... white sandy beaches crystal clear waters, great diving and a must for the "young traveller" as its good for partying! and i thought.. well that ticks all the boxes! i could get a 2 hour bus journey and then 5 hour ferry to lombok ... or... for about 15 pounds i could fly! so im doing that! i havnt booked it yet as im waiting for some people to leave and others to arrive but i rekon im guna go within the next 6 days! my origional plan was to learn how to surf but the last couple of days the waves have been about 8 foot and jus generally crap and when i go in i jus gettin mashed around in the rips and beaten up by the waves which really pisses me off! so im leavin it for a couple of days and goin off to explore. see u all soon xxxx
