Today we went to dachau concentration camp. This one did not have as much left yet was more shocking than auschwitz. For 3.50 euro you get an audio guide and walk around at your own pace. We saw lots of pictures of the prisons, piles dead bodiea really skinny men and also they had a video showing some shocking things. This camp set the rules that would later be implimenting in all the other camps. It was deaigned to hold 30,000 but ended up holding 90,000 so over cramped that many died on the train to it as they suffocated or starved. There was a black which was the imfirmary and here they carried out human experiments for malaria tb high preasure and to see what the body could take before it gave up. There housing blocks when in order of how the natzis view the people jews where always last, they got treated worse made to do hardest jobs and fed less. Thia reaulted in them lasting the shortes time. Next was the sick they too didnt get fed as much and had to do a sick parade everyday. This was when they where subduded to humiliation. So again this resulted in them not lasting long. Next came the rest of the groupes, homosexuals, gypes, forigen prisions, war prisoners and then asexual which they put others in that was just not fitting into their views. The concebtration camp now has ben turned into a mermorial and mussume. The mermorial consists of a wall with words on a wall with different coloured triangles to repreaent the differnt groups and a statue of barbwire with bodies in to represent the suffering of each man that stayed there.
