Catching up

It's been a long time since I could sit down and write - things have been hectic. Having to rush back to England just before Christmas to deal with my mother's death and organise a funeral is not the best thing to endure. Somehow I got through it and with the support of friends organised a funeral and got back to Korea. I've been back for almost two weeks and the time ha flown by. Back to teaching as normal, although being confronted over where you have been by a bunch of 14 year-olds is not the best - nor is having to admit that your mother has just died. In a country like any other where teenage boys are obsessed with death and dying they think little of putting such a scenario forward. I think to get the answer yes to such a question shocked them a little though. I can't say I'm happy about them knowing, but what's done is done.The city is the same though - and I've fallen back into routine easily. I spent my whole time in England wanting to be back here, so it seems right that I should fall back to normal so easily.
