For those of you who have heard about my bus v plane dilemmas let me start by telling you the 8 hour bus ride north to phalabowra was fine. Today i was up early to fit in all the essential tourist activity in. I headed off to park station where I came out of the wrong exit & spent the next 30mins looking for hop on hop off bus. For anyone that hasn't been to Johannesburg, park station is not in the nice part of town! Lots of people begging, random holes in the street, dilapidated buildings etc. anyway eventually found the bus which proceeded to drive round many more dilapidated buildings! In fact...

Well not much to report for the last 24hours as spent much of it in the air (or sat around the airport) I was greeted at the airport by the radisson shuttle limo man & was disappointed he only offered me water not champagne! As we left the airport there were signs advertising the decade of road safety - i then saw 2 car crashes within 3 miles of leaving the airport! Am now tucked in bed as have a busy day of sightseeing tomorrow!

Well after a busy few weeks/days/hours am finally at the airport with my passport, camera & a suitcase of random clothes (and no socks I realised). Next stop Dubai!
