I woke up early on Sunday morning & lay in bed reading my book for a couple of hours. We picked off the leftovers for breakfast & spent the rest of the morning slowly & reluctantly packing up & getting ready to return to the city. A lot of Swedish people will come out to these houses & spend their entire summer's here, perhaps working in jobs on the bigger nearby islands where there are restaurants & shops…I can see why. It's such a gloriously relaxing atmosphere & is incredibly charming when the sun is shining & even when it's raining! Which it did…only once! We were actually very, very luck with the weather & were blessed with plenty of sunshine the whole weekend :)
In the afternoon we said our goodbyes to the Bojlers, and Tjell & Martin dropped us back at the ferry for the ride home. This time we took the ferry all the way back into the city, which was about a 3 hour ride through the archipelago & the outer islands of Stockholm city. The scenery was incredible the whole way, & as dark storm clouds rolled in across the sky behind us it made for the most beautiful view. Fortunately we managed to make it home before rain broke out!
