After 3 days in the jungle we were pretty knackered so thought we'd have a lazy day. Late start and after some brekkie/brunch we booked our trip to Laos. Leave tomorrow by bus to Chiang Khong, overnight stay, cross the border into Laos and two days (stopping overnight in Pak Beng) on a slow boat down the Mekong to Luang Prabeng. Had a stroll to the local's market, which was an experience, and then crossed the river Ping and found a nice riverside bar where we thought it would be rude not to have a couple of Chang's. Picked up our laundry on way back to guesthouse and packed as we had an early start tomorrow. Went out for some dinner unaware that there was pool table where we ate so Bill couldn't putting his name down and had to do a nudey run as he got 7 balled without taking a shot - hehe - he did beat the guy next and hung up his cue as you are only as good as your last game.
