Until 24 hours later! For all the nonbelievers fear not, the scam is alive and well in Bangkok! After being told on 3 separate occasions that the Palace is closed and that we should instead catch a strategically placed tuk tuk across the other side of the city, we managed to witness the delights of Watpo and the reclining Buddah ( do not refer to attached photo). Incredible Asia is right! What an amazing statue...what an amazing likeness to the inset photo...we should all be lucky to have the real thing. Mind you both Bill and Lis's Buddah bellies are in decline...soon to resemble the fasting Buddha in fact! Beer will sustain us.
