Hi everyone!!

How are you all? Hope you are well! Still missing everyone...

Well My sailing trip was amazing! I had to trek to where the boats are which is about 20 mins walk from where my bus drops me off and believe me that wasn't much fun in this heat with three small bags carrying my stuff for the two days! Then I had to pick up booze so i grabbed the first pack of wine that i could see.

The boat holds 26 people plus 3 crew we all got our stinger suits and made our way to the boat i got a double bed which i almost had to share but luckily there was a beam in the middle so there was no way two people were going to fit in!

The first day was great we just sailed over to the whitsundays they went to a snorkelling place and all the girls i got to know were like lets make a pack that we will all go in tomorrow!

The second day we sailed over to whithaven beach because the boat we were on was a racing yacht it turned on its side and it was really windy that day i could not wait to get to land i really thought i was gonna be sea sick! We got dropped off on the island and we had to walk high up this hill/mountain to get to the look out point Once there though it was completely worth it! I've never looked over something so amazing it really was an amazing experience there aren't words to describe it! Even the pictures cant capture how beautiful it is.

Then we went down to the actual beach the sand was like flour and the water was like water from a tap but with a tint of pale blue. We had to wear our stinger suits in the water though.

We then got back on the boat and sailed to do some more snorkelling. On the way we saw turtles and dolphins! But i was to slow with the camera! :-( I really didn't want to do the snorkelling but then i spoke to this Irish guy who couldn't swim and he was gonna do it holding on to the side of the motor boat So i thought what a legend! I'm such a wimp get in that water Lisa! So i did. Not for long mind. One of the guys from the crew said he's never seen someone take a film of photos so quickly (to be fair though there was only 15 pics left on my camera).

That night we all sat around talking and drinking (me, my absolutely crap wine) Oh yeah!! And i sailed the boat! I have pictures to prove it.

Once back at Airlie, me, three of the girls and one of the guys headed off to the lagoon and maccy ds before heading back to our hostel to get ready for our night out with the people that were on the yacht.

We all met at beaches (the bar here) had sambucas and danced then Chris who i met in Cairns came to meet me for a drink! Was really good to see him again as we are sort of doing the same trip.

Yesterday i met back up with Chris and we went to the beach and then he cooked me spag bol then we said goodbye again! :-( But i'm sure we will see each other again on our trip.

I'm going on the overnight bus to Hervy bay tonight Which is where you go to get to Fraser Island. I'm just going on a day trip though as there is still so much i want to see and do and time is running out!

Don't forget the emails and message board as they keep me smiling and i'll try and email everyone back when i can. But i have read them!
