Back in Bangkok. Mark was having some cold sweats as we arrived into the bus station as less than two weeks earlier he had tripped up and torn his ankle ligaments.

Anyway, we were staying at the FuramaXclusive hotel again and got the customary warm greeting as we entered. We also received a complimentary upgrade as the standard room we had booked was full. It was not as good as last time but was certainly better than just about any other hotel we stayed at. That evening we ate in the hotel and were a little apprehensive about the next day as it was the follow up trip to the hospital. The decision of the doctor would result in us being in the airport in a few hours or sitting depressed in a hotel room having to change our flights again.

We didn't need to worry as we got the green light and were destined for the airport and then to Sydney!!! Put the tinnies in the refridgerator and pop another shrimp on the barbie as we will soon be hitting the shores of Oz !!!

The excitement soon disappeared when Mark realised that he would have to sit on the plane with his foot propped up at a 45 degree angle on the outside wall of the toilet. Let's just say it was a pretty uncomfortable 9 hour flight with little sleep. Anyway, as the plane
screached to a halt we couldn't resist a high five as we had finally arrived......albeit 11 days later than planned. On the flip side, this marked the end of our journey through Asia, which had been a great adventure.
