Well after we left Manchester airport we were both fine and on the flight to Heathrow. All was great after we were over the tears and the excitiement kicked in. As we plodded down to London within like an hour after downin our pints of cider and running to the Gate we arrived in Heathrow ready to depart for Hong Kong!! Wow Lisa Brown is actually going to Hong Kong in fact the other side of the world. Something i have always dreamed of doing!! So this picture shows just one of the most spectatular views we have seen since arriving in Hong Kong!! When we arrived in Hong Kong the Las Vegas hostel seemed to be what we had expected until we were directed to what could only be descibed as to be a prison cell lol - quite different although we coped fine of course!! The next night we ended up in another room lol with the guy who worked there sleeping on an old mattress outside our door lol!! He didnt even wake when we got up early to head to the oh erm.... Beijing Olympics!! Ooops missed out what we did in Kowloon!! Well we arriived and had a wonder down to the Harbour and found the Avenue of Stars which was amzaing to see and touch!! Then we continued to wonder and discovered the Beijing Tribute for Hong Kong and then took a walk to dinner and then watched the most wonderful light show of the Hong Kong Sky Line. It's actually called the Symphony of Lights. On Wednesday we headed to the Hard Rock Cafe of Hong Kong - ultimately it was my first HRC i had been in - what a place to start the pattern off!! Well next we just wasted time there and then it was time to chill before heading to the biggest Sporting Event in the World of Athletics - yes the Olympics!!
