Ok so week commencing Monday 25th August lol - sorry its late!! Well we were staying at the Olympic Experience. This place was quite out of the way of both the Olympic stadium and Beijing city but this was quite a bonus as we got to see living life of the Chinese. On the Monday we hit the Forbidden City after a train journey that we sussed out lol. The Forbidden City basically lots of different Temples and places of Worship. As we were in the Forbidden City park - there was actually practice rehearsals going on for the Para- Olympic Games!! We also saw the Temple of Heaven here which was very impressive and playing keepy uppy with a homemade feather look object with the locals - we kicked butt!! We then headed back into Beijing to eat " one of our favourite places - Beef Noodles place lol and yes I yet again had Beef with Garlic and Black Pepper - was yummy and Amy had Chicken some Thai style!! Lol!!! Ok so Tuesday was our last day in Beijing and we didn't want to leave!! We headed to the internet quickly in the morning and also into Beijing for our last views then headed back to our hostel and flagged down a taxi to the Airport. We were on a late flight so therefore once we had arrived in Hong Kong @ the airport we stayed there for the night lol - to save on a night in a hostel arriving there and only staying there a few hours. We then went to our hostel in the morning where we hit Causeway Bay - what a cool place!! We stayed in a hostel on the 10th floor bit of a height but all ok. We wondered round there and planned the next few days. We headed to an awesome Outback Steakhouse for dinner and had a couple of drinks more lol!! On we walked to the Pier of Causeway Bay here we came across a couple of pubs - so sat down once more for a couple of erm…. Ciders!! On the Friday we headed down to the beach - the first beach of the trip!! This one was called Big Wave Bay - was very nice. On the Saturday we headed south to Repulse Bay and again another wicked beach. On the Sunday we were worn out from all the travelling around lol despite being chilled on the beaches we chilled out today and planned our next few days to what we were going to do!! We also had to take the chance of haggling and checking out the latest mobile phones which when they get to England will be worth like 500 quid each!! They were awesome - well this concludes the second week of our travels - hope you enjoying reading this lol!!
