Hiya everyone!!! Well I arrived in Vancouver at 3pm on Sunday, thats 11pm our time, after a long flight!! Wasnt too bad though, I got to watch some good movies and the food wasnt too bad either! (and no there wasnt a fit guy sitting next to me on the plane, boooo) 3 buses later I arrived at my hostel, chuffed that I made it on my own using public transport! It was roasting when I arrived today, can you imagin having to carry a massive rucksack in the heat, it was very testing!! The hostel...........well what can I say, it's very basic and has a funny smell to it, but it does the job!! Went for a walk into town this afternoon and felt completely lost!! It's such a big place and quite scary when you dont know anyone or anything!!! Just been hanging out at the hostel tonight with a few of the people I've met, trying to keep myself awake until a decent time, which is quite hard considering I'm still in our time zone of 4.30 in the morning!! Sorry I didnt txt when I arrived, my mobiles not working over here, but will buz tomorrow! Planning to hire a bike tomorrow and cycle round the water front to Stanley park, which is supposed to be really cool, think I will do some sunbathing along the way!! Got some nice pictures but not able to put them on this computer, its very basic, so you'll all have to wait a bit longer for pics!!! Cant belive I'm really here, it's all a bit overwhelming!! Gonna go and get some sleep now, up early tomorrow to check this place out. Loads of love to you all, update you again soon, Lis xx
