We have now been in wellington for a while and we are really enjoying it, we are getting to see quite a lot that it has to offer and we still have loads to do. it is taking us far too long to do the te papa measum, but there is so much to see.

we went to the botanical gardens earlyer in the week, which we got to by cable car, which was really good. although as per my day off the weather was not the best but we still had a nice time. there weather at the moment is really hot, trying not to be in the sun too much as it is very easy to sun burn but it is nice walking along the harbour when it is like this as the view is so beautiful. i am hoping to hire some rollerblades soon which should be good, especially if i don't fall over!

we are also doing well going to as many cafes as possible, had some really nice cream and some rather beautiful ice cream here in wellington, which i would happily eat everyday! it is nice to enjoy the place we are living as well, which with the shifts we work is possible.

we are hoping to take a couple more trips to the outskirts of wellington in the time we have left which should be nice. we have already visited paraparaumu by train which was nice, did a lot of walking there and had some lunch with a great view of kapiti island.
