Hello!

I've been a bit slack with blog entries so have lots to catch up on & not very much time, sorry! From 1-3 June I stayed in Auckland, I met some really cool people at Base Auckland Hostel but unfortunately none of them were doing Kiwi except one American girl Lisa but she had to leave before we got to Taupo :( Rooms generally smell pretty bad as often people have been travelling for a year and it smells like they have!

After experiencing hostel showers I decided to get some jangles as they call them here & had to replace the camera cable I left at home. Went to the Skytower which was pretty awesome the view was amazing at 220 metres. We got free pizza at the hostel bar Globe & cheap drinks at 2 pounds each :). The next day we climbed the Harbour Bridge which was pretty scary given my fear of heights. We all went out for dinner, food is pretty expensive here, like $30 NZD for a meal, which is 15 pounds, so lots of searching needs to be done to get meals under a tenner. We went to see Hangover 2 at the cinema and had a few drinks in the hostel bar as had to be up for the Kiwi pickup the next day...
