After being awake for almost 48 hours straight I might have to get away with a short posting for today :) First, the flights went very well - we had amazingly comfortable seats so the 8 hour long flight over the pond didn't seem to bad at all. After the stop in Frankfurt we were a bit tired.. BUT after landing in Rome and getting settled in our beautiful hotel we got a second wind! I can't believe it's here! In just a few hours I will wake up (if I can even get to sleep! ) and my parents and I will head to the airport to begin what is sure to be our best family vacation yet! I'm hoping this site will allow me to track each stop on our Mediterranean cruise for those of you who are interested in keeping tabs on us... and the blog will be somewhat of an online journal for me to remember all the important details :) Stay tuned!
