Just to continue our siesta of a weekend, we decided to head even further south and hit the beach- after only 1 and a bit hours of travelling, we arrived at Punta Umbria, a small spanish holiday resort, and got ready for a day of relaxation and sunbathing!
It started off a little cloudy (as you can see by the picture)...but by the time we went home to Seville, we were looking like two overcooked tourists! I managed to read some of my book 'Come Reza Ama' (Eat Pray Love) and had a delicious chicken salad with sherry vinegar <3 The beach was just right, it wasn't a burn-your-feet-on-the-sand temperature, more lying-in-a-bath weather- absolute bliss!
When back in Seville, we headed out for some tapas and chocolate ice cream, having been deprived from Dairy Milk for several days now, my craving levels were getting desperate!
I saw the Cathedral with its mysterious glow, and the fountains lit up by white lighting...it felt like an entirely different City. It felt serene and reflective rather than overly crowded and intense- it made a nice change. But now, to get ready for the next week of busy, fast-paced days.....
