We went to Topsail Beach for a week. We stayed in a house right on the beach and met up with Andrea, Dan, his parents and little Juliet. This was Juliet's first trip to the beach as she was nearly two month's old. I had a great time holding her! Sadie Rose got to go to the beach too for the first time. She liked walking on the sand but did not go in the ocean.

It was nice going to the beach in September for a change. It was still very warm but not nearly as hot as we are accustomed.

The house we stayed at was called Hani Kai at 1622 South Shore Blvd in Surf City. It was large with four bedrooms. Our share for the house was about $722. We had our own room but we took turns cooking a nice dinner each night.

After Topsail we went to visit Kenn and Linda Vukoson in Beaufort, NC. We stayed with them one night and even went fishing. They have a very nice house and seemed very happy.

There are some nice shops in Beaufort and Moreland City. The towns are very pet friendly.

We traveled pretty much the same route to and from the beach. We mostly went through West Virginia and stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in Greensboro, NC which was pet friendly and nice. It had a pizza shop nearby called Fatz which we liked.
