Day 38 12/6/18
Today we woke up and did some schoolwork, then got ready to go to Adcock Gorge and Galvan Gorge. It was a long drive there but when we got to Adcock Gorge we went through a really deep puddle and lots of big rocks that took a long time to get over them. It was a 200 metre walk to get to the water fall. We had a quick swim but got pretty quick because it was really cold! We had a quick snack then walked back to the car. When we drove to Galvan Gorge. It was about 20 mins to get there from Adcock Gorge. It was a 1 km walk into the gorge, everyone was walking at a different speed and I couldn't see the boys ahead so I missed the turn off the the water fall, but I found another way through! We had lunch, got dressed and then went into the freezing cold water. We swam over to the water fall and then we got a shock seeing a water monitor. It was odd but I got it how the water fall was really warm but the pool was freezing, it's because the sun was warming up the water on the top of the water fall. After we got out we walked back and met some People that rode motorbikes on the dirt road. We drove home in 30 mins, when we got home we unpacked. I read my book and then taught Stu how to do a walkover. We went to the lake and played on the boat and played tip. After I had a shower had dinner and then went to bed reading another chapter of Grace.

Stella Hammond Wow! swimming in a pool with a waterfall in it. You must be a great teacher to teach stu how to do a walkover.
Queenie What did the water monitor do? Read the water temperature/depth?
