And now I've bloody typo'd 'backstage' and shoved an extra 's' on it! Can I claim that it was an attempt to influence you on a subliminal basis to think of me? I don't think either the admissions test nor the job interview are looking promising - for one thing, I claimed I could use computers. f***.
Steven (Again)
Bloody work internet connection. I was busy complaining about how I'd need to find a way to distinguish myself from Steve-the-usurper, and now I'm distinguished as the idiot who can't work the message board. I'm not impressed! Anyway, I'm having to use the full SteveN to create a unique online identity. So not only do I look technologically inept, it looks like I'm ridiculously formal, and not at all down with the kids. Elishia won't want to know me anymore!
If it redeems me at all, went to see Devendra Banhart, and he was as ace (if not even acer) than expected. Its a little heartbreaking to have a man with a beard as a fashion icon though - one day, Steven, one day. No backstages antics I'm afraid. Had you been there to flirt, and chat about oblique literature that I've never heard of (and make me look like a complete moron in comparison), I'm sure it would've been a different story. You could have got in there again. I would have chatted to a random man with a harmonica again.
Got to go, as I've got an supplementary admissions test and job interview to prepare for. I'll be back though. If only to stake out my position as the pre-eminent Steven.

Hey Nadia,
I'm appalled to find that you're keeping acquaintance with another Steve. I feel usurped. I
I hope the adventure is going well - didn't Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom involve Ecuadorian street children? Doubtless the ritual human sacrifice will begin shortly. I can't wait to see the pictures!

Hi Nadia
Just read your journal. It's sounds like you're having a great time. I see you are realising just how chaotic Latin American countries are. Enjoy the madness! I'm liking all the tacky tourist equator stuff you're doing. There was a TV show on the other night about Ecuador and it made me think of you. Keep living the dream, missy and I hope to hear from you again soon.
Eoin xx
Steve

Glad to hear you're having a good time!
Me and Patrick are thinking of you. Patrick says: Hope the little s***s aren't giving you the run around too bad!
Well done with the Spanish, it's very impressive, especially as I am having trouble with English at the moment.
Hope the third world is as good as the first one. It always looks depressing on the news.
Enjoy the guinea pig brains.
Much love,
Elishia
Haha, hope this amused you.
