hola chica! que tal? that's about as much as i can remember from our spanish course. carumba! i knew i'd never need such phrases as "quien es el jefe de compras?" - what a joke! there was a piece about mizzy night on gmtv news this morning (it's the only way to start the day). reminded me of what we're missing up there in sunny liverpool - crime and destruction for no apparent reason. you can't beat it. happy days!
cool pics mi amiga. my favourite one is entitled "darkness and churches" - not so much for the picture but for the title. classic! i laughed out loud at my desk. i have a new job by the way. nothing special but keeps me off the streets! plans underway for moving to paris in the new year. woohoo! anyhoo...enough about me. (i jest, of course - you can never hear too much about me)
fiesta on dude!

Hi, Nadia!
Bumped into your mum & dad at Phillip's 40th birthday party on Saturday night. They were telling me how you were getting on (about the famous guinea pig meal experience) and suggested I check out your blog - very enlightening!
Sounds like a great scheme you've hooked up with - the best of both worlds? Really envy your opportunity 'de hablar en espanol'!Yo no lo he hablado desde muchisimo tiempo.
Hope your trip continues to go well and that you don't mind an extra message on your message board!
Take care
Alison
(P.S. your parents behaved themselves at the party - no embarrassing behaviour or anything. Mind you, we left at 9pm because of the children; your parents could have let their hair down much later.......!)
Patrick

So - we were going to eat a nice tuna and pasta dish Julia had put together - as we are now with your mum and dad and Ian and Jane here in Barton Mills...but I 've now been despatched to Budgens to but a bit of Rare Equadorian Hamster instead. Great to hear about your travels on this site - and also to see your face at the bar !!
Lots of Love. Clarkes, Coopers and some folks called Glen and Amin

Loving the graphic description of yesterday's lunch!
What doesn't kill you makes you strong, that's our girl.

Patrick.... great idea but I think Peru is much safer. I don´t want to be part of a kidnapping by guerillas! Maybe at some point after volunteering´s done. Monika is from Columbia and says we shouldn´t go!
Going to Otavalo this weekend. They have a guinea pig market! And I think everyone eats them in South America...

We want to see some photos of you!!!
Keep up the good work.

P.S. I have started to knit Christmas jumpers for me and Patrick... Haha!
Patrick
You've scared us! I don't think that we have quite the organisation to be thinking of Christmas cards yet. It sounds like you're having a wonderful time, seeing lots and all that jazz. But have you considered a day-trip or something to Colombia? I don't know if they eat any rodents etc there, but it could be fun. Hope you still want to come home at the end!
