What a day yesterday was! Ciaran's dad arrived just before 10am (slightly early!) and started loading bags into the car. I forgot to pack a couple things; toothbrush and straighteners but no big deal. Got to the airport and checked-in in plenty of time. Bit of faffing and then that was it.

Got to London about 130pm and as I was wheeling Ben on his Trunki down a slope at Heathrow, we saw Jimmy Carr! He gave Ben a big grin and then he was on his way. Baggage reclaim was easy but then we got a bit lost in the airport! Ended up waiting half an hour for a bus, only to find we were in the wrong place. So a train and bus ride later and we arrived at the Travelodge and met up with Jenny and Ben. We got all the cases up to the room and decided we'd go get some dinner.

Time to navigate the tube! It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. We even ventured out further with multiple changes. After this we were all pretty tired so we got the tube and bus home for a wee cuppa then it was time for bed.
