hey hey hey everyone!!

im on the 2nd day of my adventure!!arrived in mumbai around1am yday morn!heat hit us even tho it was night!we got a taxi from the airport to colaba,that we found in the lonely planet , aparntly, its the nerve centre 4 tourists! we wanted to speak 2 ppl and find our feet! everything was closed and we ended up at a hotel cald gulf hotel, wich was R225 each a night, without aircon, wich is roughly 2.80! wasnt2bad, had2 beds&comunal shower&toilet(grotty toilet, or hole in floor,i went for the latter)

we slept til 4pm that day, but wernt sure bout the time diff! then i realised that i had forgoton2pack undawear&towel!ony had wat i was wearin! dint master the nak of using the hole1st time& dropt my only pair of nikas down the hole!! had to go comando!then got ript off buying sum new1s!!! i paid $1000 for6pairs! (1pound=80R)it dusnt seem like alot, but, here, they saw me coming!!fresh faced travela at the beginin or my journey!! i hagled for sum sandals to wear in the showa!but still got bumpt!!!

i havnt hagled that much yet tho, but wev met 2guys from devon, sophia&russell and we spent the nite with them in a 'travellers cafe/bar' cald leopolds& went bk2 thr hotel, wich was prety bad and they paid mor than duble wat we did!!! theyv bin travelin 4 10days, startin in delhi, wich is aparntly much poorer than here. they r prety gud at hagglin, spesh cabs!! the cabbies ask4 R500, if they fink u dont know anything, but u can ususally get it down2 R50! and that is stil extortionate!!!!

weve eaten at a couple of restaurants and goton 4 meals&big botles of water4 1pound50. thers no pound sign, so im gona use$ instead.

wev decided2make our way to goa wi soph&russ.ther goin today and wer gona book our tikt2mr,aparantly, thr al bukt up. so we may ony b able to leave in 2days or sumn.

ther isnt much to do in mumbai, and thr isnt much history here.but tomoro, wer goin to be extras in a bollywood/hollywood movie cale:the end of the line starring jesse metcalf(hot gardener in desperate housewives), an dget 5*meal! were not sur if its a trick, but were goin anyway! torq doesnt want2do it, but i wana b a star!!hehe!

havnt bin sick yet! hopefly i wont! torq&i hav decided to b veggies wile were here!

i made a mistake of brushing my teeth in the tap water wen we arived, and luckily, iv bin fine!!!

reali random writing, but everyones waiting for me at the hotel and im not a fast typer,!

there are lots of ppl wantin money and trying to cheat u , and little kids and old ppl sleepin rough on the streets, everywhere, anywhere u can find reali.but u hav to b tough and say no or ignore them,or ul hav no money! i hav given away some biscuits&water to kids& torq played a game of football with some, they past it to me, but i cant play!!!
