Sooo....where to begin... After getting a bit fed up of the constant hassle on the Khao San we decided we'd head up to Chiang Mai. We got to the TAT agency where we'd booked our bus, wandered around for a bit and then got a taxi to the Bus Depot....the traffic was sooo bad. Traffic lights here wait for about 10 minutes to change, I don't know how people can stand it!!! So because of the traffic, we think we missed our bus....either way we had to wait for one ...

Right then...Bangkok... Got the flight from Hong Kong fine, except Paul got the window seat and I had some guy stealing all my armrest and breathing smelly smoky breath all over me when he fell asleep. Ick. Had a nice little stop in Singapore Airport which is probably the nicest airport I've been in. Ponds and a cinema and nice bars and restaurants. All good. Then got the flight up to Bangkok, and Paul was made up because we were by the emergency exit so had loa...

So we arrived in Hong Kong at about 8pm or so HK time....so so so tired! Didn't really manage to sleep at all on the plane. I was fine though, I was impressed with actually ahving a choice of meals, as well as the amazing personal entertainment (own screen and you get to choose what to watch!). Its not too bad for me as I have teeny tiny legs and don't worry about leg room (unlike a certain someone who doesn't enjoy these flights/bus trips etc). So we landed, ...
