We asked the guy at the hotel to order a cab to take us to JFK this morning and certainly weren't expecting to see a limo outside with Robyn's name in the window!
We got to the airport in plenty of time for our 9.30am flight. We flew with JetBlue who were very good. The plane seemed very new & was comfortable for a 5hr 45min flight. The flight was uneventful. Americans just don't like to follow rules. There were so many people getting up when the seatbelt sign was still on after take off & they took no notice when asked to sit down. It must be very frustrating for the flight attendants. When we got to LA it was hot and we picked up 3hrs.
It was nearly 3pm by the time we checked in after getting the shuttle bus to the car hire place & driving to West Hollywood.
After freshening up a bit we drove to the Citadel Outlets. We both had a list of shoes to get but were pretty unsuccessful. We were tired & hungry so after going into every shop we wanted to, we headed to Ruby's Diner for dinner. It is an old fashioned diner known for their milkshake menu.
Tomorrow we are heading for Disneyland and have tickets for the basketball tomorrow night.
