Goodbye Cortona!!
On one of our last days in Cortona, we went to Siena.  This is famous for having an annual bare-back horse race around the town square.  There are some pretty buildings, a wedding in action and... we had to try the gelato!! (for research purposes of course!!)
Soon it was time to say goodbye to Margaret, Maurizio and the boys...and of course Punchie!!!  
We became pack horses once again and headed to Rome for our connection to Velletri.  We were excited that we actually knew how to do things (order lunch, buy tickets!!  Yes we know the basic things excite us, but its hard when you have no idea what people are saying)  We rested on our hour ride to Velletri.
