We set off from Lensvik with six punnets of strawberries and some strawberry jam that Kay made us. We drove over a high pass were we saw 2 moose standing on the mountainside. We followed a clear blue river down a valley then we turned of and headed for the Trollstitgen it is a road going strait up a cliff it had about 30 hairpin bends one after the other. When we got to the top there were great views and you could look down on the road. We carried on down the other side there was quite a few sheep on the road. We arrived at Geiranger fjord it was an amazing fjord with steep banks on both sides and the water was a turquoise blue colour there were waterfalls running into it. The town of Geiranger was a very touristy and had a huge hotel. We stayed in the campground and after tea we walked up to the top of a cliff there were great views of the fjord and the sunset. The next day we drove over another pass it was higher but not as steep as the last one we drove past beautiful lakes with snow and ice beside them I even swam in one it was freezing there were incredible views looking back on Geiranger fjord we drove for quite a long way through more amazing scenery we stayed in a nice camping ground. The next day was much the same except we went to the world famous voring fossen a huge water fall that you watch from above as the freezing water plummets down into a huge cavern and then runs swiftly down the steep high valley into one of the many fjords we also went through about 70 tunnels including the worlds longest one it was 25 km long and very boring we got a cheap cabin in a nice camp. The next day we headed off again we stopped at Prekistolen its a huge rock that hangs out over the fjord also its 600 m up we hiked up to it sadly it was foggy and we couldn’t see the amazing view it was still scary!!! We carried on in the car we crossed a fjord and settled into camp. The next day we didn’t have far to go then we got on a ferry and sailed to Denmark it was a long trip and we didn’t get there till late.
