We set off for the falls on Tuesday from Ilha Grande and had a monsterous journey..we had to get a bus to Sau Paulo for 7 and half hours and then had a 15 minute change over to catch the next 14 or so hours to Foz in Brazil...it was tight but it was the first successful mission that the Gorman and Daltrey duo have conquered. When we arrived at the falls we just put the bags into lockers and looked around the Brazilian side, the views and the waterfalls were really beautiful. We then crossed over into Argentina. The next day we saw the falls from the Argentina side where you get much more up close and personal with them. We did an organised trip where you go on a tour through the forest and then on a boat through the rapids and under the falls. The tour through the forest was the most boring thing we{ve ever done the woman mainly talked about plants, well one plant, but the boat trip was real fu, we got absolutely soaked. Rest of the day we walked round the trails and we came across a sheraton hotel in the middle of the falls and ended up sitting having club sandwiches and drinks over looking the falls... it wwas tres chique and very untravelloresque but it was a little luxury that we thought we deserved. We now leave Iguassu to go visit Buenos Aires.....
