We woke up at a reasonable time and hung around the caravan park as Mum and Dad were talking and Renee and Eamon played with Sam and Zoe. We finally decided to get going to Clarkes Beach for a surf and swim for an hour and a half while Mum went for a run up to the lighthouse. After a snack of grapes and watermelon we went into the town and the kids enjoyed a frozen yoghurt that was delicious! After that Dad went shopping while Mum, Renee & Eamon walked for about 2km's home!

At home we had lunch and not long after we were off again, heading for the lighthouse. It was already after 4 o'clock and we knew we had to be back at the campground by 6 o'clock as we had a booking for the Balcony Bar at 6:30 for dinner. Dad, Joe and Trudy decided to bike ride up to the lighthouse, while the kids and Mum drove to Wategos to the start of the lighthouse walk and then walked up the steep pathways to meet the bike riders at the lighthouse. We spent about fifteen minutes up there taking photos and admiring the beautiful view and both the walkers and riders made our way back home.

We got a maxicab into town for Dinner at The Balcony - we had a lovely area on the balcony - Dad & Joe had steak; Mum, Renee & Zoe had the delicious ocean trout; Trudy had the kingfish; Eamon had a burger and Sam had spaghetti bolognese. For dessert the kids shared fruit and sorbet platters. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
