Today we arrived back in Sydney with our rig. Our big trip around Australia has come to an end - we have seen incredible parts of Australia - Flinders Ranges, Uluru, West MacDonnell Ranges, Kakadu, Litchfield, great waterparks in Darwin, El Questro along the Gibb River Road, Broome, Cape Leveque, Karijini NP in WA, Dolphins in Monkey Mia, beautiful Perth, Margaret River and the great south west of WA including Albany and Esperance, the fantastic Nullarbor and Great Australian Bight, Eyre Peninsula in SA, the Murray River through Victoria. We have seen much of Australia's flora and fauna and also met some great people along the way. Our journey took 127 days in total and we did 24,039km. We stayed at around 60 different places. Here are out final thoughts.
Mum: If you are thinking about doing something similar - stop thinking, and just do it - you will have no regrets!
Dad: Fantastic trip, great memories! Highlights are: Karijini National Park (WA); Ningaloo Reef (WA); Cape Leveque/Broome (WA); West MacDonnell Ranges/Palm Valley (NT); Eyre Peninsula (SA)
Renee: Our trip around Australia was an awesome lifetime experience. All the memories are endless. The adventurous walks, the different animals, and the different atmosphere at every place we went to made every place a good memory. All the friends you make and the fun and adventures you have. It will never be a holiday you will regret. The people were very friendly and you could have chats with them about your next destination.
Eamon: On our trip, it was very interesting and fun because the walks were adventurous that sometimes involved walking through water and over big rocks, though the walks were very hot. Even though the drives were long, we saw lots of cool animals and a lot of nature. When the drives were long, it was worth it at the end.
