We left the highway at Marla heading for Oodnadatta and beyond. We found the Pink Roadhouse at Oodnadatta which of course was interesting in itself. We picked up a Pink Roadhouse map to follow the Old Ghan Railway.
We pulled late in the afternoon at Algebuckina Bridge and were able to camp close to the Neales River which did have water.
