Rain, rain and more rain. This meant one thing....shopping. With winter in NZ on its way we needed some warm clothes. An early morning bargain hunt was on in cairns due to another sleepless night. Our two German room mates thought at 4am it was ok to come in and have a conversation at over full volume, sit laughing and then sit waiting for their illegal room mate to make an appearance for an hour. At least we had had an early night so when we couldn't get back to sleep at 6am we got up! 2 can play at that game! It's surprising how much noise you can make when you want to.

Barely able to walk after Saturday's exercise, the first thing on the shopping list was a fruit boost smoothie and a protein shake to try and repair our aching muscles. We were both walking around cairns like robots that had filled their nappies.

Adam was in town so we met up for a few drinks to say a final goodbye before we all left Australia.
