Wonderful day today. We started with a great breakfast; all the meals have been wonderful at the resort. Then we took off to some Mayan ruins at Cahal Pech. It was interesting to hear of the history of the site. After we came back to the resort for lunch and then some of us took the boat back across the river to walk around Benque Viejo del Carmen. Made it to Belize safe and sound. It was smooth going through customs and getting baggage. The resort sent a driver to pick me up, and it was a nice 2 hour drive to Benque Viejo and across the Mopan River to the resort. So here I am in front of my home for the next few days, a cabana at the resort!
