Got up after a bit of a sleep in at 8.30 and went to get our group photo at a lookout over Florence. We continued into Florence and went to a leatherwork demonstration and were told how to tell real leather from fake leather - by feeling the suede on the inside - not by smell or feel. I bought a puzzle ring which was created by a man who used it on his wife when he went to war to check she did not take her wedding ring off (or it would fall apart). We went from there to our walking tour but the tour lady wasnt told she was meant to be there so we had to wait around for a bit before starting it. We continued walking around and went to get a sandwich made from the 4th stomach of a cow. It smelled pretty rank but tasted a bit like corn meat. None of us could finish it though with the smell. We then went to the academia to see the statue of David. It was pretty cool, I didnt realise it was so big. We then went back to the area where the arch and bell tower were and I climbed the bell tower to see out over Florence. We went from there to re-look at the ..... bridge which is 400 years old? and is the only one to survive a World War. We headed back to meet the group and head back to camp to get ready for our night out. We went for a tuscan dinner which was MASSIVE. First we got spaghetti bolognaise and another pasta dish. We then got meatballs and mashed potato. We then got chicken and finally got tiramisu. It was all awesome food apart from the chicken. We also got free bottles of wine so that was cool. We went from there to a space disco club and had another go at karaoke. It was a cool club but had a card you got on entry to book your drinks up too. Could have been dangerous but I was already drunk by this stage so didnt need to buy too many drinks. There were so many young kids there because the legal age is 16. We went home half late and hung around outside on the camp verandas with Tyson and Glen before Tyson came and passed out in my bed because he was too lazy to walk to the other end of the camp to his hut.
