Billie and I decided to sleep in after last night and caught a taxi into town before lunch that day. We first went to the underground labrinths of the Buda Castle. They were pretty cool and interesting at first. They had a winne fountain that actually ran wine too which was apparently used. It got a bit weird towards the end though because they had random 'fossils' of computers and things. It was a strange joke. They also had heaps of little glass cases with things like hairdryers in them and a little explanation of what it was and what it was used for. Could be good if our whole race died I guess and some new people who knew nothing found them. They had piles of old toys and a toilet and things too. It was very strange. We then caught a taxi to the Vaci U, which is the main street in Pest. I had wanted to go to the baths but Billie didn't want to so I didn't take my togs when I left the hotel and then didn't want to pay for another taxi to go back and get them. Bit disappointed I didn't go though as everyone said it was fantastic and had big whirlpools and things. In the Vaci U we found a restaurant that sold steak that was served in a big roast like chunck uncooked on a heated stone. You had to cut a piece off and cook each piece individually. They had awesome garlic sauce and it was really yum. We then had to walk around the streets for a while because the bus wasn't coming to pick us up till later. I got a suitcase for all of my extra souveneirs and we saw a few people from the tour who were going home and soon after them we decided we didn't want to keep waiting so also got a taxi home.
