Had to get up to leave by 8. First time I wasn't in a room with Billie and as Steve said let's go to walk to the bus someone said they thought she was still in the room so I had to run up and hope they wouldn't leave. She had just been woken up by staff and had to get dressed and everything. I practically ran to the bus and just made it as everyone was loading and we had a 2 hr bus trip first before getting to the mauthaussen concentration camp from nazi time. We watched a movie clip there first that was very interesting and sad. They had footage of bodies just being thrown into carts and they were so skinny. It was interesting to hear recounts from workers and things. We went then to look inside the concentration camp where you saw the burners that they used to stick up to 10 ppl in at a time and the gas chambers that they used to go in an count to 10 to die. Would then take hours for them to clean the bodies out. Found out they had to be outside from 5 in the morn till 5 at night in whatever weather and had to eat with only spoons no plates and only have 4 spoonfuls every 3 days or be beaten to death. How they had to lie down if the ground was muddy to be a human carpet for the ss to not get their shoes dirty. How they lined up on a cliff and had to push each other off and were so weak climbing the stairs that they'd fall sometimes and take out others like dominoes. How it made hitler sick and he hardly went there for inspections because of it. There was so much interesting info and I'm glad aiden and Steve found spare time for us to go there since it wasn't originally part of the tour. We kept driving then through an industrial town called Lind?? Which was hitlers birthplace and drove for another hour or so before our service stop which was awesome and had awesome food and was really fancy. We kept going again and played another battle of the sexes game where steve read a description of something that sounded dirty and we had to guess what it really was. Then Jess went to the back and we played perfect match with 4 of the boys answering questions and she had to pick the best ones. Was some funny questions and it wasted some time. kept going for a while before reaching swarovsky. It was very strange and they had the weirdest things with their crystals. We kept going till we got to hopfgarten where we got ready for the twins birthday. It was an awesome night and stayed out dancing for ages.
