Just an overnight stop in Johannesburg but I managed to cram quite a lot in thanks to my lovely friend Cristi that I used to work with, her husband Hamish and their adorable son Cuan. They picked me up early and we headed out to a safari park where we drove around checking out the zebra, spring bock and all sorts of other bock, giraffes and lions.

Driving through the lion enclosures was a little hariy as a load of young males decided to play with the car and climb all over it! Hope the insurance has paid out for the repairs Hamish?! So a fleeting visit but a big thank you guys for giving me a mini taste of SA, lots of love to you all.....
