yesterday we went to see some beautiful islands. we hired a long tail boat for the day with a driver and visited 4 islands: chicken island, poda island, tub and fra nang islands. they were all beautiful. and all the finger crossin must have done the trick because the weather was gorgeous! hot all day long without even a hint of rain. so we lounged around on the islands and soaked up the sun. a little bit too much perhaps as now i am sunburnt and it hurts! was a really good day though. so nice to just lay on a beach and not hav to do anythin. first time we have really done that on this trip.

then last night we met up with amber from our jungle adventures who happened to be ao nang at the same time! so we all went out for cocktails and then me, amber and colette went iin search of life. due to it bein low season it can be a bit quiet around here! so we has 3 thai buckets (sangsom, coke and red bull in a bucket!!). then went partyin with the locals. met a couple of other girls from london and a couple of guys from ireland along the way. went to thai club which was a bit weird. all the songs were in thai and everyone kept shoutin and cheerin whena song came on and we hadn't a clue what it was! asked for arctic monkeys but don't think they had any! ha. then we walked amber back to her hotel via mcdonalds!! and fell into bed around 5. today we r sunburnt and a little hungover so gonna take it easy. especially a we are on a mini bus for 8 hours tomorrow crossin the border into malaysia. really excited about it but it means a new currency to get used to!!
