Ah well hello everyone back at home......where to start

we shall start with the flight! we got lucky and got upgraded so settled ourselves in for the duration, only to be told that we were going to get upgraded again, so we had seats that turned into beds, champagne cocktails on tap, choice of food and a snack bar. pure luxury!

so our first stop was mumbai, which was pretty hectic, so much traffic and taxi drivers and tuktuks they permanently beep their horn but thats all part of its charm i guess, so we legged it down to the backpack area where we got picked to be in a bollywood film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we were promised hair, makeup, costumes, money, a 30 min drive from where we were staying. we thought our luck was in. we were then bundled into a car, and drove for 2 1/2 hours -the drivers didnt know where they were going but we arrived on a dirty beach to then be told we would actually be acting in the film, where 7 of us we in a scene all to ourselves! ( gsce drama came in very handy )we didnt get any hair, makeup or costumes but it was an experience and hopefully we will get a copy.

so we are now in north goa, after enduring a 16 hour coach journey to get here. it was hard work to say the least- we had a tiny mattress to lie down on a top bunk, which we were pretty glad we were friends, but the bus had no suspension and every time we went round a corner we thought the coach was either going to fall over of we were going to fall out of bed! anyway it was worth it has goa is wicked. the town where we are is just like living in a festival- way too many hippies and dreadlocks but good markets and amazing food- everthing is so cheap, it feels like its all free! there was a festival on the beach yesterday which was fun- lots of fancy dress so felt right at home! doing some hula which is great and giving a few lessons too.
