This morning ken took us around Ho chi Mihn city to see the sights and war museum. I really enjoyed the museum as it gave me a little insight in to the Vietnam war (I had no clue about it previously) I'm still wondering wtf the Americans were thinking?
The most shocking thing for me was seeing the effects of "Agent Orange" (this is a chemical the Americans sprayed over the country during the war which resulted in genetic deformities) there were photographs of all the little babies born with deformed bodies, it was terrible!
After lunch and a bit of an airport wait we flew to Nah Trang and I NEVER want to leave!!! It's like the Gold Coast x 100 but divide the price by 3!!
A few of the girls and I went for a run along the beach after we checked in (all those buffet breakfasts and 5 course meals were getting the better of us) the shore is lined with amazing resorts and bars and nightclubs.
We went for dinner at the flashest place I've ever eaten, there was a swimming pool in the dining area! And it extended right down to the ocean.
I decided to have seafood so I could still be slightly different and not quite as western as the boys who ordered hamburgers and chips lol!
We then headed out to a beach nightclub where it was ladies night! So we all got a free jar (massive drink) the group were trying to get me to drink alcohol so we celebrated my belated 21st but I still stuck to drinking banana and berry mocktails! (one of the new girls thought I must be pregnant HA!)
The nightclub had a bar on the sand and one on the dancefloor upon the shore, there was also a BBQ area and a huge bonfire on the sand surrounded by deck chairs, the whole place was lit with lanterns and fairy lights it was so pretty :)
We stayed out til 3am dancing and carrying on, the music was great and everyone got into it!
Top night all round, I LOVE Nah Trang!!!
