Its our last day in Chicago and we've had a really good time here. We have seen all the sights we wanted to. On Tuesday we walked around Millenium Park, which is situated in the middle of the city, the park has some amazing pieces of modern art, take a look at our pictures and see for yourself. The weather here has been good and even though it has been cold the sun has kept shining, which was good when we visited Navy Pier. Most of the shops and rides on the pier are closed at this time of year and it was very quiet, but as it was a clear day we got an amazing view of the Chicago skyline. Most places we have been to, we have always managed to find a Chinatown and even though Chicago has it own, we also managed to find a Greektown. It is pretty much what you would expect, all decked out in Greek flags and surrounded by Greek restuarants and shops. We've also walked down the Magnificent Mile, which is the main shopping district in Chicago, similar to New Yorks Fifth Avenue and even though there are some really nice shops (not to mention expensive!) we resisted temptation. On Thursday night we went to go and see the Broadway showing of Mamma Mia. It is something we both wanted to do when we were in America and what better place to see a show than on Broadway in Chicago. The show was really good and lasted just under 3 hours and by the end even Lee was singing one or two of the Abba hits!! Today we are going to have a walk round Lincoln Park and walk by Lake Michigan, which are both close to our hostel area. We fully intend to have a relaxing day before we catch a flight to Los Angeles tomorrow.
