Arrived at a very busy 'ghost town' which grew up during the gold rush of mid 1800's and became deserted once the gold ran out. Today it boasts many tourist shops, bars, cafe/ restaurants and two shows, one at the theatre was performing Box and Cox, the other at the Brewing company was a cheeky review for the over 18's. At the lower end of the town was a narrow gauge railway operating trips to the sister town of Nevada City where you can watch a living history ...

My 46th state Just chillin and doing some caching around the KOA campsite. Also had a dip in the pool and it rained. I checked out a log cabin of the type Suzanne and the girls will be staying in.

Arrived in Idaho in blistering heat

Another lazy day chillin. That is before it gets too hot. Met two lovely families and joined them round their campfire. We tested the fire crystals making blue and green flames. Played games and I drank Diet Dr Pepper! Still recovering from Friday nights beer.

97f and at the icicle brewery beer garden where they have kindly installed heaters for those chilly evenings AND cool sprays for days like today. You can just see the spray on the pic. It is fuc##n heavenly!!!!!!!
