Yangshuo - 21st November - 2nd December Sadly, I've just left yangshuo... By far my favorite place in china and what actually turned out to be one if my favorite places in the world so far. I literally couldn't find a bad word to say about the place, people or hostel, I was genuinely upset to leave after settling more than comfortably into this new way of life and little make-do family, but Vietnam next and more importantly - beaches! Lee and Az - Got up early this morning to go for an innocent wander and find az some new trainers, however, we ended up at a huge local market seeing things we really didnt expect to see! the pictures dont really do it justice but they're worth a look anyway... Corcodiles, turtles, dogs, cats, rabbits being butchered alive, chickens being boiled alive, massive cages of toads ready to be picked up by their back legs and hit over a bit of wood, mountains of live ...

Just thought you might like to know that my total number of beds stayed in count is now up to 18! I've also done 7 trains and stayed in 10 different hostels! Shanghai, 8th - 14th November - We didnt arrive in shanghai until about 9.30 at night but for once, arriving at a new city late at night wasnt an issue, in fact, i'd advise it. Wuhan - 5 - 8th November After a dodgy 5 and a half hour bus journey into Wuhan, we fit a be lost but eventually found our hostel (pathfinder Wuhan) tucked down a side street, dumped our bags in and headed out for food. It looks like a really good, lively city and we even found a Muslim restaurant for dinner at 10.30 at night!
