Today I went to school dressed as an advent Calendar as part of a competition.... Can you believe that despite bribing the kids with chocolate I still didn't win!!! I mean look at me!?

He's in my house now. It was difficult finding a suitable place for him. Do I put him in the kitchen where he loved to be ... But it's next to my bedroom? So I settled for the front room where there are lots of Sri Lankan stuff. I've lit a candle and some incense and welcomed him to my home. He never actually saw me here..... Anyway at least he's here. Heavier than I thought. .... Less traumatic ..... But it was one of those days that I would either laugh or cry ...

He's arrived!! Wasn't sure how I'd feel as its really odd having him in a box and even odder him coming in the post.....Office staff were really respectful. But I need to get used to it since he's going to be my travelling companion! Come to think of it .... I've never ever flown with my dad!!! Lx

Waiting for ashes to arrive .... Surely he wouldn't just send them in the regular post!!?
