Nearly 10 months ago the plans for our future changed..we decided to stop worrying about what everyone thinks we "should" be doing and actually go for it and follow our dreams.

After meeting in Germany and going on various trips together we realized there's so much out there to see..so why stress about figuring out what we want to do with our lives? We said our goodbyes Christmas 2012 and started planning what will hopefully be the trip of a lifetime.

I arrived in Canada three weeks ago and it's been so much fun. We spent a couple of days in a cute town called Port Moody, planned a fake bachelorette party for myself in Vancouver, took the ferry across to Vancouver island where I've been lucky enough to meet Maddy's friends and family and we went on a road trip to Ucluelet/Tofino where we hiked, enjoyed the beaches and even seen a bear fishing.

And now the day has finally arrived..tomorrow we leave for Thailand! Where the chicas backpacking adventure will finally begin :-)

Hopefully the journey isn't too rough (even though it'll be nearly 24h of travelling!). Will update you all whenever we arrive and settle into our hostel.
