hey i can't quite believe that i am here in beijing! it is quite crazy! beijing is an unbelievable, crazy, hectic and huge place! well i have done all the "tourist sights" that beijing is famous for, excluding the great walls which i will do tomorrow. don't even know where to start! china i feel is a hard place to comprehend, unless you have been here. i now understand what people mean when they say china is becoming very strong and powerful. i can visually see the wealth. it is crazy. i would have love to have been in beijing years ago. so many buuildings have gone up and are going up especially with preparation for the olympics that it becomes just another city. there is so much beauty however in this country, i just roam outside of the city into alleys and streets where old china is still very much alive. i am loving it here and i am moving on now shortly. i have enjoyed my time here but i am looking forward to moving on. xx
