Today's first destination: the world's friendliest Tim Horton's in Burk's Falls. You all know I've done my research on this.
As I write this we are going through Madawaska, East of Algonquin Park.
I savoured every beautiful moment of the journey through Algonquin, remembering the many amazing trips there with family and friends. We have a 9 hour journey today to get to Quebec City, and we had a somewhat later start than planned, so it was a quick journey through the park but we hope to come back this Summer and revisit our favourite lakes and hiking trails with the kids.
BTW, the only wildlife I spotted through all of Algonquin Park was a lonely wild turkey walking along the highway.
We are looking forward to some St Hubert once we are in QC, So naturally today's lesson for the kids was the correct pronunciation of "Hubert"
