Hello!!! Welcome to my blog! This "blogging" malarky is all very exciting but also very new to me so please forgive me if it takes a while for me to figure out how to do it/ I break some blogger's code of conduct etc. etc. As you have probably gathered by now, I am leaving this green and pleasant land essentially to go join some travelling circus and put my plate-spinning skills to good use/because my university says I have to. Hopefully my year abroad should consist of being in South-America (working in Colombia) till Christmas, Egypt (studying in Cairo) from January till May and then France (doing God knows what, very possibly becoming a professional SDF (that's tramp in English), all I know is that I have to be there) from June-September. If you would like to know more specifically what I am doing over the next year or so, please read this blog! Don't worry, I'll try not to get too philosophical and write pages and pages contemplating the meaning of life or publish the Laura Creese ultimate poetry anthology on here but if you would like to know whether I am still alive and, if I am, what I am doing with this life and where, this is probably a good place to look. Oh, I will also hopefully put up photos from wherever I am for the more visually-minded of you, until my camera breaks that is, as with all expensive things I own, it inevitably will. The other thing is I'm pretty sure you can leave me messages somewhere on here so please, please do, it would make me very happy!

Wow, poop from your ears. So things really are upside down in the southern hemisphere. Sounds great, but watch out for snakes in the flip flops!
