Hello All,

After a very long and tiring journey, and a terrifying nose dive between Melbourne and Auckland I arrived in one peice in Auckland.

My hostel was located right next to the sky tower (and a very loud nightclub), but it was too foggy to go up. Once I arrived it started raining and did not stop, but my day was brightened when James came up from Hamilton to see me.

Due to the rain we couldn't do much sightseeing, but went shopping and to see the new terminator film. We also had a delicious Thai meal from one of the many abundant eateries in the city.

I will be returning to Auckland later in my trip, so haven't stayed long.

Next stop, Hamilton!
